OK oracles of medical wisdom give me the heads up on Jacksonian Epilepsy. Very bizzare had case the other night and partner videoing her as no one at her local A&E believes she has epilepsy. Maybe Jacksonian as she has been told she has lesions on the brain....tell me more BWTS people of knowledge.

Followed jock's advice an looked it up (focal seizures, beginning distal moving to proximal with usually no loss of communication, consciousness etc etc) - one question remains - why was an ambulance needed???

I read fairly recently in a leaflet by the Epilepsy Association (or whatever they call themselves) that they'd prefer people not to call an ambulance for any seizure with less than 2 minutes fitting and less than 10 minutes post-ictal. Maybe the ambo services should chip in to have more of these leaflets published.
