Judge, I was trying to be polite.

I said that everyone does an equally important job within the NHS and all deserve a decent pay rise...

My response was to your initial post - your second post is not exactly the same as the first.

I know the topic was nothing to do with banding, however under this great agenda for change all jobs are matched and banded accordingly, and since you stated originally that all jobs were equally important I was merely drawing comparisons using this nationally agreed process of A4C.
In this process, from my perspective, you have seen that medical secretaries and Techs are in the same band. Relatively speaking those jobs to me are not equal.

If a relative of mine collapsed in the street with a heart attack I would have a dilemma - would I want a Tech with a defib and oxygen, or would I want a secretary with a notebook and pen? what a hard decision to make - NOT!

I would agree however that everyones job is important to them, and everyone is entitled to a decent pay rise.
