How do you warm your fluids ?

I know you can put them next to the heater either in the back or in the cab - but it still takes lots of time to do - time the patient may not have.

Does anyone have their own ideas on this ?

Does any service use digital photography of rta scenes to show hospital staff mechinism of injury?

Is there any benefit to it? Would it make any difference to the treatment recieved form the hosp?

Just thinking of the times you take someone into resus who have been in a car smashed to pieces and theres not a scratch on them but they should really be dead. The values on our MEWS is different to the one used by our local hospital (and different again to a neighbouringhospital).

So I was wondering if the MEWS has a national standard or if its just tailored for individual hospitals.

And is there any point in telling a hospital a patients MEWS score if they work it out differently anyway.
